A strand of round undyed Salwag pearls, 6mm in size.
A round Salwag pearl is 6-7mm long and wide. The string hole has a diameter of approximately 1.4mm. The strand is approximately 39cm long and contains around 65 Salwag pearls. Salwag seeds naturally have a white core with black marbling. This black marbling is characteristic of Salwag. The pearls vary in shape and size.
Salwag pearls are versatile. They can be used alone for small refined necklaces or combined with larger shapes. These pearls, although small, cleverly accentuate without imposing themselves on the viewer.
The Salwag pearls were made in the Philippines.
