Five lilac Pambil seed beads from Ecuador, approx. 15-22mm in size.

The Pambil seed beads are approximately 15-22mm in size and 15-20mm wide. The size can vary. The beads are not perfectly round, the surface and shape are irregular. Many Pambil seed beads have a black spot, similar to acai beads. Some Pambil seed beads are covered with a fine net that looks like veins. The cord hole has a diameter of 2-3mm.

The climatic conditions influence the size and color of the Pambil. The pearls are usually between 15mm and 22mm long, but occasionally the Pambil can be smaller than 15mm and larger than 22mm.

Uncolored Pambil seeds are ivory. Depending on the weather, the seeds can sometimes be a little darker, which then influences the final color. Lilac then becomes dark lilac.

In addition to the black spot, the Pambil pearls can also have dark spots and additional holes. This is not unusual for a natural product. The Pambil seed pearls come from Ecuador and are also called Bombona in other South American countries. The term Bombona is used very generously in Central and South America for many palm seeds. Pambil seeds are the product of only one (very common) palm species and the term is only used in Ecuador.

Pambil seed beads are a real eye-catcher. They impress with their size and are ideal for bracelets and impressive necklaces.

Please note:
This is a natural product and the individual parts may vary in color and size.
