Type: Seed beads

Five undyed Pambil seed beads from Ecuador with remains of shell (tiger), about 15-22mm in size.

The Pambil seed beads are approximately 15-22mm in size and 15-20mm wide. The size may vary. The pearls are not perfectly round, the surface and shape are irregular. In these Pambil seeds, part of the dark skin has been removed; The rest of the dark shell covers the light brown core with dark brown lines. The cord hole has a diameter of 2-3mm.

The climatic conditions have an influence on the size and color of the Pambil. Usually the beads are between 15mm and 22mm long, but occasionally the Pambil can be smaller than 15mm and larger than 22mm.

Uncolored Pambil seeds are ivory to light brown. Depending on the weather, the seeds can sometimes turn out a little darker, which then affects the final color.

In addition to the black spot, the Pambil beads can also have dark spots and additional holes. This is not unusual for a natural product. The Pambil seed beads come from Ecuador and are also called Bombona in other South American countries. The term bombona is used very generously for many palm seeds in Central and South America. Pambil seeds are the product of just one (very common) species of palm tree and the term is only used in Ecuador.

Pambil seed beads are a real eye-catcher. They impress with their size and, in addition to bracelets, are also particularly great for impressive necklaces.

Please note:
This is a natural product and the individual parts may differ in color and size.
