A strand of oval carved salwag beads, 13mm - 17mm long.
An oval Salwag bead is 13-17mm long and 9-13mm thick at its thickest point (in the middle of the bead). The cord hole has a diameter of approx. 1.2mm. The strand is approx. 40cm long and holds approx. 28 pearls. The basic color of the salwag pearls is natural white. The pearls are covered with many brown lines that give the pearls a certain dynamism. This effect is reinforced by the spiral carving. Visually, these pearls are always in motion.
These beads are ingeniously combined with large, plain beads in bright colors such as pink or yellow and some lightly patterned wooden beads. Large spacer beads in gold or silver give a piece of jewelery with these salwag beads a very high-quality look.
Even if it doesn't look like it at first, these salwag beads are incredibly modern. While some pearls are a bit like looking at a wall, here you have the feeling that you can look far and wide. Especially in combination with gold you can create very noble and chic pieces of jewelry.
